[Rxtx] RXTX cvs access?

I was just trying to access the RXTX source via cvs on my Mac (OS X  
10.4.7, via the Bash shell in Terminal) using the instructions at:

http://www.rxtx.org/cvs.html

Followed to the letter (including the rodent-oriented password).  It  
appears that I can reach the server since I get a password request  
but once I enter the password nothing happens for a while, then I get:

cvs [login aborted]: connect to cvs.milestonesolutions.com 
(208.2.190.117):2401 failed: Operation timed out

Has anybody been able to access cvs lately?  Do I need to know some  
special handshake or something ;-)

I'm trying to get ahold of the 2.0.7 release for OS X (or later,  
whatever will let me build 2.0.x Universal Binaries) but the best I  
can find is 2.0-7pre1 at ftp://ftp.qbang.org/pub/rxtx...  hence I'm  
trying to get to the source via cvs.
